Second Cut Feedback

Very similar to our first cut feedback, the whole class gathered round the table to watch our production, providing more constructive criticism and to see whether or not we took our last feedback session into account.

Holding Shot Steady

• Slow zoom - too unsteady.

Framing a Shot

• Photographs no clear enough - need to flash into close up.
• Also need to zoom into the tv, focusing on the crash scene.
• Paper scene needs to be over Ashley's shoulder.

Appropriate material

• Face clear Jams sequence - very disgusting, well done.

Selecting Mise en Scene

• Car park  is a poor location - empty street needed.
• Ashley horror face sequence - good - keep edits short.

Editing for meaning

• More quick shots of car accident.
• Different transition to dead Ash - gradual colour transition.

Varied shot transitions, caption and other FX

• Some very good effects - face, airplanes, ECG monitor, leaves falling upwards and James's blank face.
